TERMS
Clear rules before the private beta.
Pre-beta terms · updated 24 August 2026
Short version
- Pitwall is a training-support tool, not medical advice.
- You control what you connect and remain responsible for your training.
- Do not misuse the service or try to access another person's account.
- Beta features may change and availability is not guaranteed.
1. Status and service provider
Pitwall is an early-stage service operated by De Bonte Koning B.V., registered in the Netherlands. Questions can be sent to support@debontekoning.com. The registered office, Dutch Chamber of Commerce number, and reviewed consumer terms will be added before external beta accounts are invited.
2. Accepting the final terms
External beta users will be asked to actively accept a dated final version. Acceptance will be recorded. The separate privacy statement explains how personal and training data is handled.
3. What Pitwall provides
Pitwall is designed to place plans, completed activities, progress, and a useful next step in one clear view. Garmin is the first planned connection, subject to official programme approval. Features marked planned, preview, beta, or unavailable are not a promise of current functionality.
4. Training support, not advice
Pitwall organises training information. It does not provide a medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency service, or a substitute for a qualified coach or healthcare professional. Stop and seek appropriate help when training causes pain, illness, or an emergency.
5. Targets and AI assistance
Pitwall may propose training targets and explanations using calculation rules or language models. These outputs are suggestions. The user must review and accept a target before it becomes part of the plan. Pitwall does not silently change plans and does not promise that a suggestion is suitable for every person or circumstance.
6. Your account
- Keep control of your devices and confirmed email account.
- Confirm an email address before connecting an external service.
- Tell Pitwall promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- An unconfirmed device profile may be lost when its cookies or browser data are removed.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the plans, notes, goals, and other content you enter. You permit Pitwall to host and process that content only as needed to run, secure, support, and improve the service in line with the privacy statement. Do not add another person's private information unless you have a lawful reason to do so.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Pitwall for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity;
- access or attempt to access another person's account;
- probe, bypass, overload, or damage the service or its safeguards;
- upload malicious content or automate abusive traffic;
- misrepresent beta access or connected-provider approval.
9. Garmin and other services
A connected provider remains a separate service with its own account and terms. Pitwall cannot guarantee that a provider will approve access, keep an API available, support every device, or deliver every activity. You can disconnect a provider without using it as your Pitwall sign-in method.
10. Beta availability and data safety
Private-beta software can contain defects and may change without the service levels of a finished product. Pitwall will take reasonable care to protect data and communicate material incidents, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised. Export and deletion controls are required before public beta.
11. Pitwall materials
The Pitwall name, visual identity, software, and documentation remain protected materials. Permission to use the service does not transfer ownership of them.
12. Suspension and ending use
Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, serious misuse, or a legal obligation. Users will be able to stop using Pitwall and request deletion under the final beta controls.
13. Responsibility and mandatory rights
Nothing in the final terms will exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. A reviewed liability clause and applicable consumer terms remain a legal launch gate, not something this development draft attempts to settle.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are intended to be governed by Dutch law. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules in a user's country continue to apply where required. The final reviewed dispute clause is a release gate for external beta.
15. Changes
Material changes will be dated and presented for renewed acceptance where appropriate. Draft terms may change while no external accounts are active.
