PITWALL
Pitwall FAQ: access, activities, Buddy and privacy
Answers about the closed beta, supported activities, Garmin import, Buddy access and using the app in your browser.
Closed beta · invitation only
Can I join the beta?
Use a personal invitation or beta code to create a new account. Already a member? Sign in with your email. Without an invitation, email support to request access. This is a closed beta; an access request is not an immediate registration or a guarantee.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Open Pitwall in a modern browser. You can optionally add it to your home screen as a PWA. The guided introduction helps you find your way and can be resumed later. Dutch and English are available in Settings.
Can I use it without Garmin?
Yes. Plan sessions and enter completed activities manually, or upload supported FIT and Garmin ZIP files. An experimental Garmin connector is available within the controlled beta. Official API access and workout publication are still pending.
Is Buddy included for everyone?
No. Buddy requires an account with an enabled usage allowance. It can use saved context and prepare proposals, but it does not silently change your plan. Planning, activity review and core progress do not depend on Buddy access.
What if an activity produces an incorrect record?
You can exclude an activity from personal-record calculations without deleting it from history or period totals. You can include it again later. This is useful for faulty GPS, power or other source data.
Is Body Check medical advice?
No. Body Check records what you report about body areas, sensations and intensity. Earlier observations and optional reminders help you keep track. It does not diagnose or treat an injury, or replace a qualified professional.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes, account export and deletion controls are available in the app. The privacy notice explains the current processing and the policy details that still need to be completed before the beta expands.
